Johan has shared the story of his roots in starting in the BPO industry 10 years ago, when he decided to have a stopover in Manila, joined his first Outsourcing company, and ended up as the co-owner and CEO with up to 200 employees, before founding Better Support.

Janni and Johan then discussed what are the thins that made Johan love working in the Philippines. Then he shared how elated he feels working with Filipinos despite the challenges in the country. He concluded that the Filipinos have a really positive attitude that can affect you in a positive way.

“The purpose of outsourcing is that companies who want to cut their costs for repetitive posts that could be performed from anywhere. Looking at a price reduction of somewhere from 50 to even up to 80% by outsourcing to the Philippines
I actually think that the pandemic was a catalyst for the outsourcing industry because many companies that hadn’t already outsourced or only partially outsourced realized that it’s actually not a huge difference if someone is working 30 kilometers from the office or if they are based in Asia.”– Johan Jedaker, CEO & Founder of Better Support

Outsourcing can be a cost-effective solution for small-medium scaled businesses (SMBs) as it allows them to access specialized skills and expertise without the need to hire full-time employees. This can result in significant cost savings in terms of salaries, benefits, and overhead expenses.

Outsourcing can also provide SMBs with greater flexibility and scalability, as they can easily adjust their staffing levels based on their business needs. This can help them to respond more quickly to market changes and avoid the risks and costs associated with hiring and firing employees.

By outsourcing non-core functions such as accounting, marketing, or customer service, SMBs can focus on their core competencies and strategic initiatives. This can help them to increase efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness in their industry.

Finally, outsourcing can provide SMBs with access to the latest technologies and tools, which can help them to improve their business processes, automate repetitive tasks, and reduce errors and inefficiencies. This can lead to improved quality, faster turnaround times, and higher customer satisfaction.
